TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS: - If the timer doesn't work or the screen doesn't display, check the battery condition. Use only 4 AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries, not rechargeable lithium batteries or a mix of old and new batteries. - If the valve doesn't shut off or flow out, turn the dial to AUTO, press the "Manual" button to enter manual watering, set a 5-7 second duration, and press "OK". Repeat this a few times until the water valve is functioning normally. - If the hose faucet inlet/outlet is leaking, ensure the faucet/garden hose connector is US NHT 3/4", the washer is installed correctly, and the connection is tightened with Teflon tape.
